Carmela has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years, working in service and supervisory roles for large super funds, credit unions and institutional banks. She has been directly advising clients since 2007.

Carmela has a broad range of technical knowledge and experience with a focus on her clients full circumstances when giving advice.

Her areas of particular focus are Superannuation and Retirement planning, maximising Centrelink benefits, Self-Managed Super Funds, Personal Risk Protection and Aged care advice.

Mathew has over 12 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry with a wide range of experience that includes working for global financial service providers, boutique financial advice firms and most recently a Senior Adviser position in an institutional Bank where he has delivered strategic, tailored and holistic advice solutions to his clients.

Mathew gets great satisfaction from seeing that he has helped make a difference to his clients’ lives and helped them to achieve their goals, both personally and financially. He does this by understanding his clients’ lifestyle and financial goals, quality education and guidance and utilising his expertise to map out the most appropriate plan based on their needs. Importantly, Mathew then works long-term with his clients to ensure their plan remains on track as their circumstances and in case legislation changes over time.

His areas of advice include Superannuation and Retirement Planning, Wealth Creation, Risk Protection, maximising Centrelink Benefits, Self-Managed Super Funds and Aged Care Advice.

Susie’s administration background is mostly in human resources and accounting in Sydney and overseas. She has worked primarily in Senior Executive Assistant roles and has over 25 years of secretarial and administration experience.

Susie moved to Adelaide in 2001 and has spent the past 7 years in an administration role in the hospitality industry prior to joining AACFA.

"I love people so being the face and voice of AACFA is a great way to keep connected with our clients. I really enjoy being able to provide our clients with as much information as I can as a starting point and then being able to continue to work with them to ensure that they feel supported when they are dealing with us."
